From a backyard workshop to a mission of sustainability.

Where It All Began

I caught a bug from my grandfather.

For as long as I can remember, his garage has been filled with dozens of mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, snow blowers, and anything else with a small engine. He couldn't stand seeing equipment thrown away or left out to decay, especially when the majority of them only needed simple fixes. Word spread, and stuff kept showing up. If you had anything with a small engine that you weren't using or you couldn't get to start, you took it to him.

My own story started in my barn, with broken mowers and a determination to not let them end up in a landfill. I would repair what I could and donate the working equipment through local nonprofits. But sourcing parts proved to be painful -- new OEM is expensive, used OEM is hard to find, and aftermarket quality can be terrible.

Salvaging, cataloging, and selling the remaining used parts proved to be even more painful. I realized how many perfectly good parts were often being discarded. The more I learned about the barriers and potential impact, the more committed I became to creating a scalable and sustainable solution. What began as a hobby quickly grew into a passion for helping others repair their own machines with used parts.

Reuseful Equipment continues to grow, but our mission remains the same: giving new life to quality parts while helping people maintain their equipment affordably. We're constantly expanding our inventory and improving our processes to better serve your. Our goal is to become a leading provider of quality used equipment parts while promoting sustainable practices. And we envision a future where repair is the first choice, not the last resort.
